What are your check-in and check-out times?

Check-in starts at 1:00 PM and check-out is by 11:00 AM. If you anticipate arriving earlier or later, contact us in advance and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

What is your cancellation or refund policy?

Accepted Answer

A 50% deposit plus taxes is charged at the time of reservation. To receive a refund of your deposit minus an $10 cancellation fee, you must cancel by phone at least 3 days before your arrival. Cancellations made less than 3 days in advance are not eligible for refunds. There are no refunds for early departures or inclement weather.

Are pets allowed?

Yes! Well-behaved pets are welcome. Please keep them leashed, clean up after them, and be mindful of other guests. Aggressive or noisy pets may result in early departure.

Are there quiet hours?

Yes — quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Please keep music, conversations, and activities at a respectful volume during these times.

How’s the cell service and WiFi?

Free WiFi is available and suitable for basic browsing. Cell service may vary by carrier due to the campground’s location in the San Luis Valley.

What attractions or things to do are nearby?

The campground is located just east of Alamosa, CO, in the San Luis Valley. Popular nearby attractions include: Great Sand Dunes National Park Local hot springs and wildlife refuges Scenic drives and stargazing opportunities

Are campfires allowed?

Yes, campfires are permitted only in designated fire rings at your campsite. Firewood cannot be collected on the property but can be purchased on-site.

What should I bring or prepare for my stay?

Accepted Answer

Bring bedding or sleeping bags, outdoor clothing (it can cool off at night), a camp stove or grill, and other camping essentials. The valley can be windy at times, so plan accordingly.

Do you offer group bookings, long stays, or events?

Short-term stays (up to 28 days) are standard. Extended stays may be approved at management’s discretion. For group bookings or events, please contact the campground directly for details.
